The Westin Portland was considered to be in a fantastic spot for exploring the inner city, within easy walking distance of Pioneer Square, great restaurants, shopping and food trucks, as well as the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.
Guests enjoyed the happy hours in the bar and lounge, which was found to have very nice cocktails, and the restaurant was likewise thought to have great food, while the staff was said to be generally pleasant and polite.
You will find the hotel and room decor to be beautiful, and the bathrooms to be particularly luxurious and spacious. Some of them reportedly have wonderful city views and all have comfy beds and are well-insulated from city noise.
A small number of those who stayed at The Westin Portland said the rooms were too expensive, as was the valet parking, while some guests said the staff could be a bit more friendly and helpful with recommendations, with a few even calling them rude. A handful of people also reported the walls between rooms to be a bit thin.
