The views around Embarcadero and both beautiful and interesting. Guests reported that the rooms overlook scenic Yaquina Bay and crab boats can often be spotted and it's quite interesting to watch this activity take place.
The facilities at this hotel are well-maintained and functioning properly. The hot tub is clean, the pool is clean and warm and surrounded by a relaxing and comfortable pool area, the grounds are well-tended to at all times.
Guests reported that the rooms are very tastefully-decorated and immaculately clean. Also reported was excellent amenities that are all in working order, comfortable beds and lots of storage space.
Staff members at Embarcadero don't seem to like their jobs as they don't do anything more than what they have to. Guests reported that staff are hard to communicate with, they don't attempt to correct problems right away, they don't even try to accommodate guests who have issues with their assigned rooms and they offer no apologies or incentives when things go wrong. .
Guests reported that there is a lack of soundproofing in the rooms as you can hear conversations, footsteps and water running in nearby rooms. Also reported was beds that are old and creaky and make a lot of noise if you move too much. .
The food served at breakfast is bland and poorly-prepared. Guests also reported long waits to order and get their food, a shortage of plates and unfriendly kitchen staff. .
