This was our first time visiting POC, and the house was perfect. There was plenty of room for our boat, which is always a must. Mark was very accommodating and had an extension cord and water hose ready for our use and he even gave us a few pointers on where to find the fish! We will definitely be back!

The house is dated, beds are uncomfortable. The owner gave us a hard time about our son's medical service dog. "He stated everyone says their dog is service dog"

I really enjoyed the yard, outdoor areas and fish cleaning facilities. Nice spot to park boat and truck. Worked great with my dogs as well.

Super cool last minute booking available with the owners staying just next door. They were super friendly and helpful on ensuring we were comfortable. Very adorable and relaxing place that offers a little something for everyone

Mr. Mark, Thank you for your hospitality .. we had an amazing stay and had everything we needed and some .. The home was clean and very cozy , plenty of room for our family of five ! My husband definitely enjoyed chatting with you, said he could sit and chat all day with you. Thank you for the food commendations, Bubba's and Cathy’s were both super delicious !! We came for a quick weekend of fishing. The house was clean and loved that everything was labeled so there was no guessing what light switch to turn on, or cabinet to open. Only downside was that the pool looked a little green so the kids were disappointed, but mom and dad didn’t want to get in anyway.

The house is nice and clean. All appliance worked. The pool looked great (although we never used it). The owner met us when arrived and gave some good suggestions. The owner is super friendly

Was dirty and unkept when we arrived the ac return in the ceiling was leaking and had mold on it. Tons of damage to the walls and ceiling. The front steps to the house are super unsafe basically falling apart. My brother in law had to fix the fridge as when we got there it was not keeping and of our food cold and by the next morning all of it was warm and nasty. I could go on and on but over all if you want a safe clean place to stay this is NOT IT!

My family had the best time. The house was perfect and we enjoyed the pool!

100% accurate as to pictures, extremely clean and manager very accommodating pool was super clean and we had a relaxed and very enjoyable time. Our kids and grandkids can’t wait to go back…we were all sad to leave. If you don’t stay here your crazy!

House was so clean and the pool and yard were amazing!

The house is in a great spot, close to the main road and stores and close to the beach. Everything was comfortable and clean. Plenty of amenities, cooking essentials, and shower needs. The deck and pool are awesome, so much fun! This was our first family vacation with 2 small kids and this house made it very enjoyable. Thanks, y'all!

We booked for three nights to meet up with old friends and two days of fishing. The pool is great after a long day chasing Reds in the back lakes, the outdoor area below the home is perfect for cooking out and telling lies about the one that got away, the owner is courteous and responsive to any needs or questions, and the home was clean and well stocked. Another perk was ample room to park both of our bay boats, trucks, and an additional vehicle. I highly recommend this home! We will be back for our next trip to POC.

The property was spotless clean. The owner lives next door and was very friendly. Everything worked as it should. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of towels and linens. Backyard and pool are immaculate. We will definitely be back!

We highly recommend this property. We spent 4th of July week here with 4 kids (age 4-8) and our small dog. We had a great time getting away from the city and just relaxing out on the upstairs front porch sipping coffee and enjoying the POC views of breezes in palm trees. Having young kids it was great to have a fenced pool on-site with childproof latch, poolside restroom and shower for after getting sandy at the beach, and Internet TV for siesta time. Low traffic, quiet street, nice local grocery store - overall a great get-away for young families. Property owner monitored the pool and answered any questions - he was very courteous while never intrusive. We highly recommend.

We did not stay at this property and I can't give a review of the property itself. Mark was very nice and called to say the pool was broken. Unfortunately we had to cancel due to personal reasons and the pool. We ended up staying at a different property for a slightly shorter stay.

Perfect getaway.

We stayed at Reel Em Inn for 2 nights and had a lot of fun. The place was really clean with plenty of space for sleeping and cooking. There was even a place to fillet fishes. We enjoyed this fishing trip and will definitely book this house again if we go fishing again.

Awesome place for a getaway!

We absolutely loved this house!!! The view is wonderful, the owners are very knowledgeable about everything around . We loved the pool and spent some of almost everyday we were there in it. The bath in the house is wonderful very unique!! We had a terrific time fishing and we plan to come back !! If your looking for comfort and enjoyablity , this is the place!!!

Amazing!!!

This home had everything you need. The extra parking for the boat was perfect. The pool was great & refreshing. We didn’t have to worry about our little Pomeranian getting out when we let him out to potty either. We will be booking again. The owner is nearby & very friendly.

Our family all agreed this is our new annual home away from home! There is everything to love about this happy home! Clean, quiet, awesome pool and amazingly kind owners who genuinely want to provide the best possible experience for you. Highly recommended, we will be returning every year for our family vacation, you will want to as well!

Finally found our home away from home!

We have rented several properties before and this, by far, was the best. The hosts were very welcoming and a joy to talk to. The house was very clean and had a lot of kitchen utensils/supplies. The pool and deck was a nice added bonus for the kids to enjoy between outings. This house has everything you need. We will definitely we coming back.

Perfect getaway

Our 3 day getaway was perfect. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. This home was the cleanest vacation home my husband and I have ever stayed in. The home owners were very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back!!!

Excellent!

Upon our arrival we were greeted by Mark and Pete (his chocolate lab) they welcomed us to their house and told us if we needed anything to please let him know! We then went into the house and it was so awesome! This is by far the nicest, cleanest and overall best maintained home we have ever stayed in that we found on VRBO. They take great pride in their house and it shows! We made the trip down to Port O'Connor to go fishing and Mark was super helpful with telling us about fishing spots! We also throughly enjoyed the swings and sitting on the deck in the evenings! We definitely spent more time on the swings than we did in the house! The beds were very comfortable and so was the furniture! Even though we brought all of our own towels, washcloths, and cooking stuff they supplied everything you could possibly need and then some! We will definitely be back for another fishing trip and will absolutely stay here again! Another awesome thing is that they allowed my babies (dogs) to join us on this trip!

Great place, convenient

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the house was perfect. The yard and the room for parking and fish cleaning and outdoor patio and porch swings werew all wonderful. We also really appreciated having a place that welcomed our pups!

Great stay!

Our family enjoyed our recent stay at the Reel'em Inn cottage in POC. The property was immaculate. The beds were comfortable and the kids were thrilled with the sofa sleepers in the living area. These were not the uncomfortable foldout couches you'd expect. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the downstairs bathroom. Plus, the pool and deck were well maintained. The downstairs area is set up for outdoor living. We were thrilled to find that Reel'em Inn is a pet friendly rental. The yard is fenced and there is a pet door so our pup could go from his crate to the porch and yard without having to be on a leash. This rental is within walking distance to the jetties and King Fisher Beach. Great rental!

Lovely pet friendly rental property

Can't say enough about our stay at Reel Em Inn. Mark and Terri are amazing hosts and provided literally everything we needed for our spring break fishing trip! First of all, the house was super cute and very clean. Secondly, they provided many supplies that most owners don't or only give you a starter supply. The beds and linens were top quality and very comfortable. The pool and yard were kept perfectly, only wish the weather would have been a bit warmer to swim. The downstairs bath was a bonus and many in our group loved using the shower in there. We also used the grill, the fish fryer and the fish cleaning station. Everything that was needed, was there! We were a party of 4 adults and 3 teenagers. The kids slept in the living room on the sofabeds. Our only issue, was that we would wake them up coming and going early in the morning or while in the kitchen early. We also brought our small dog, who loved the fenced yard. We loved our stay and hope to be able to visit again!! Thank you again Mark and Terri for a great spring break!

Clean and Comfortable--Everything you need!

We loved everything about this rental. Dog friendly, very clean, nice location. The extra amenities for both the kitchen and bathroom were a nice surprise compared to other rentals. Owners were friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking to visit Port O'Connor.

Beautiful house, great location

Really nice house and the owner was very nice and responded very quickly any questions. Also wanted to say as a pet owner it's hard to find places that allow you to bring your dogs. They had no problem with me bringing my dogs. Very grateful for that.

Very nice house

Our hosts were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We have stayed at other VRBO and Home Away houses, and this was the first time we had a small goodie basket with little things to make us feel welcome. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cookware, and we were able to cook all our meals with ease. We had six people in the house and we all slept comfortably. Also, my kids thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool! My personal favorite was sitting on the porch swing in the evenings. The house is a short distance from the public beach, which is where we saw many beautiful shells, as well as dolfins. Overall, I can say we loved our trip to Port O Conner, and would recommend staying at this house.
