The resort is well-maintained and immaculate and the casitas blend into the desert. Guests come here to get away from it all and enjoy the golf, the spa, the pool and the quiet.
Rooms here are spread across the property and include a number of luxury suites and adobe casitas, some with plunge pools. Guests love the luxurious, large casitas and the privacy they afford and the golf carts that shuttle guests around the resort.
The hotel's Onyx Bar is a local hotspot and guests say they know why and wish it was in their backyard. The bar is custom-made out of a single mesquite tree and the rest of the lounge is done in amber and black. Handcrafted cocktails are served outside where guests can enjoy the desert scene and nighthawks in flight.
Some guests say the adobe casitas feel more like cabins than a Four Seasons resort. The casitas are decorated in Mexican-crafted furniture and feature handmade art by Huichol Indians. Most guests feel the rooms and casitas are soothing and reflect the culture of the area.
The resort charges a fee with each room to use the Wi-Fi and parking. Some guests feel the charges should be included in the room rate and while not especially expensive, the charges add up and annoy some guests, who feel they're being nickel-and-dimed.
The resort is very family-friendly and guests say you'll find children at the pool and around the resort during the day. At night, the place is extremely quiet except for the hotel lounge.
