The hotel is ideally situated within a short walk to the white sandy beaches, shopping, and dining for which the area is known. The water taxi, and valet parking with in/out privileges are perfect for guests venturing a little further.
Several guests would have much preferred to pay a slightly higher nightly rate rather than trouble with additional fees for various services such as Wi-Fi and valet parking.
Because the hotel affords excellent views of the Intracoastal Waterway, it opens its doors to a certain number of additional guests who wish to view the Winterfest Boat Parade but do not intend to spend the night.
A few guests have noted that the carpets need to be replaced and that some of the furnishings are a little dated, though comfortable.
