Generous owners.
Caring owners really went the extra mile at Castelletto. Nothing was too much trouble, and guests were surprised by the accommodating service that included things like specially arranged early breakfasts and hotel transfers. positive:
A view to die for.
Guests could have looked out their windows all day. Mesmerising sea views were especially captivating from the balcony, and guests loved being high up to take in the panoramic postcard-perfect view below.
positive:
Sensational breakfast.
Guests were in love with the plentiful breakfast, often arranged at a time that suited them. There was something for every palate, and some guests were even too full for lunch.
Negative Reviews
negative:
At the top of a hill.
While most guests appreciated the climb back to the hotel to work off some extra calories, other guests would have preferred less exercise. Castelletto is perched atop a hill, which makes the views great, but the accessibility a little harder than most.
negative:
A few things on the small side.
A few aspects of this hotel were smaller than expected. Some guests thought that bathrooms in certain rooms were uncomfortably cramped, and others commented that the pool was more of a plunge pool than one to swim in.
negative:
Overhead noise.
This hotel has the added benefit of being near the airport, but some guests would have rather not been under a flight path. From time to time, the sounds of overhead airplanes broke the otherwise peaceful calm of the laid back environment.
