Paso Robles Inn boasts a perfect downtown location, next to the main town square. You'll be able to walk to many restaurants, shopping and a variety of wine tasting rooms. Guests also found the hotel convenient to the train station. .
Take some time to enjoy the beautiful landscaping at Paso Robles Inn's gardens. Guests were impressed with the intricate design of the hotel grounds and found the garden area to be incredibly pleasant to relax in. The Koi ponds were a lovely surprise. .
The mineral spa hot tubs were a major highlight of most guest stays. Many rooms have their own private Jacuzzi and guests say they make it worth the upgrade. However, the hotel does have a guest pool and Jacuzzi onsite, open to all guests. Guests also found that on colder days, the fireplaces, also featured in select rooms, were quite comforting. .
Though the property is well-kept, several guests thought renovations are necessary as some rooms have begun to show their age. The decor is outdated, the lighting is poor, and various amenities have been repeatedly reported as being out of order. Uncomfortable mattresses and pillows are also a big complaint, and additional counter space in the bathroom is preferred among visitors. .
Though most guests were pleased with the service provided, several have mentioned about the staff being inattentive and forgetful. Requests made by guests were sometimes forgotten or very delayed, and guests had to call in to remind them. .
Most guests weren't too impressed with the breakfast, calling it mediocre at best. However, the onsite restaurant, Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse, was positively reviewed for delicious and unique dishes, even though some guests thought the service was too slow. .
