The Terrace Inn and 1911 Restaurant has 38 rooms, from cozy cottage rooms to larger rooms with king bed and full bath to Queen and King Suites. All rooms have private bath, cable TV, wifi, hairdryer, lots of vintage charm, daily maid service and hot breakfast. The restaurant serves dinner nightly in summer and weekends in fall and winter, plus has an extensive list of wines, beers, and cocktails. The Inn is closed in March to mid April. Lake Michigan is within walking distance along with many cultural, recreational and historic activities right here in Bay View and nearby Petoskey. We are in a National Historic District which is also a Chautauqua. Established in 1875, Bay View Association is a music campus/village/summer resort with a history of world class concerts, performing arts, lectures from speakers from around the world, painting classes, private beach, tennis courts. Guests of the Inn enjoy discounts on concert tickets and all the privileges of Bay View residents. Petoskey is the home of million dollar sunsets and is a resort town on Little Traverse Bay/Lake Michigan.
