The Inn at Kulaniapia is a Hawaiian bed and breakfast establishment, located in 22 acres of lush vegetation, waterfalls and gardens. Rooms are in four neighboring buildings of authentic Asian style. They include marble clad bathroom, with complimentary soap, shampoo and hairdryer. Many rooms include a private balcony and sitting area. They are attractively decorated and furnished and the only background noise is that of the quiet waterfall. The Inn at Kulaniapia is pet friendly and has a business center, gymnasium and workout room. There is wheelchair access, free WiFi, free parking and a concierge service. A complimentary breakfast is served and downtown Hilo’s restaurants are a 15 minute drive away. Breaks are enhanced by visits to the Akaka Falls, Kaumana Caves Park and the Lyman Museum, in addition to exploring the Hawaiian Forest Trails.
