Positive Reviews

positive:

Superb Location, Decent Hostel.

This is a hostel, not a hotel.  That said, it appears to be quite cosy and welcoming if you are the laid back sort.  A fantastic, fun atmosphere, very reasonably priced.  You'll get to immerse yourself in Dublin's culture from this fantastic central spot.  A minute's walk to plenty of sights and, of course, the Temple Bar is within a short stroll. There's a bus stop just adjacent on the route to the airport. Common areas are spacious, pleasant and kept surprisingly clean.  Check-in and check-out times were reasonable.  Guided tours of the city are plentiful, and many of the walking tours are free.  The downstairs bar has musicians performing some nights who bring in a somewhat more mature crowd. There's a pool table and television in the social room with DVDs to watch.  Breakfast is included too, if you like mostly cereals, breads, jams and tea.

positive:

Friendly Staff.

The staff are quite helpful and friendly here, never hesitating to recommend a local cafe or help out with directions or a map.

positive:

Cosy Rooms.

Rooms are simple, no frills, basic and tidy.  The facilities are kept very clean, and even the shared bathrooms are pristine.  Kitchens are large and well-equipped.  Towels are available for hire from reception if your booking doesn't provide them free of charge. Lockers are large and can fit small travel bags.  Plenty of sockets to charge up your devices.

Negative Reviews

negative:

Boring Breakfast .

If you plan to stay a while, breakfast may become a bit monotonous.  Try walking across the street to another cafe once in a while.

negative:

Wi-Fi Woes.

The Wi-Fi works best in common areas; very iffy elsewhere.

negative:

Room Foibles.

Lockers cost extra and so do towels with larger group bookings.  Water temperature is tricky to control, so showers may become extremely hot.
