Urban House is very centrally located for you to be able to walk to several restaurants, bars, shops including supermarkets and plenty of tourist sites. The central train station is also a stone's throw away so guests are very well connected to the rest of the city, for example just being three stops away from the airport.
Even compared to other hostels, Urban House has a lot of common areas for guests to socialise and connect with fellow travellers if they wish such as the bar, the gardens, the Quiet Lounge with a number of books and magazines, etc. There are also events hosted in-house from time to time.
All rooms whether dormitory or private have their own shower and bathroom as well as there being a few common ablutions in the hallways, so there is much more of a degree of privacy when you want to take a shower than other hostels.
In cases of arrivals before the check-in time, departures long after the check-out time, etc., the reception does offer a designated room to store guests' luggage, however an extra charge applies for this service. During your stay though, you can use the free lockers in every room.
Given the lively atmosphere of Urban House, it is possible to hear some noise over the weekends due to parties being held at the bar. You can however avoid this by requesting a room not close to the bar area if possible.
