About African Soul Surfer

The African Soul Surfer is a backpackers and surfer’s paradise set near to the beach in Muizenberg just 21 kilometres from the city of Cape Town. The backpackers offers a wide range of accommodation to suit different guests, group sizes and budgets. Some rooms offer a private balcony with mountain or ocean views. There is a shared bathroom and complimentary Wi-Fi access is available. Yoga and Pilates classes are held each day and guests can enjoy a game of table tennis in the games room. Surfing lessons with an instructor are available. Art and music nights are held monthly in the on-site Peanut Gallery. Guests can enjoy a meal prepared at the on-site restaurant or make use of the fully-equipped shared kitchen on the property. The Sand Bar serves coffee and other beverages. Guests can walk along the Muizenberg Catwalk or spend their day at the Muizenberg Pool and Water Slides.
