Hotel Alba (San Antonio, Spain)

Many guests state that one of their favourite features at this hotel is the view from the balcony. The sun rises over the bay and is simply spectacular.

Many of the guests staying reported that they opted for the rooms with a kitchenette so that they could save on meals. They were delighted at how fully equipped the kitchens were, featuring a microwave, refrigerator, oven, and all cooking/eating necessities.

The beach is directly behind the hotel and is maintained for hotel guests only, which offers privacy for those who like to sunbathe.

While this is a nice hotel, you should know that there is no air conditioning, so schedule trips accordingly.  There are also no lifts which make carrying a lot of luggage to the upper floors difficult.

Guests that stay at this hotel during peak season should know that it will be very noisy until about one or two o'clock in the morning. This is due to the live bands that are in some of the neighbouring bars and restaurants. Delivery trucks also begin making their runs early in the morning and are also quite noisy. Bring noise cancelling headphones in order to sleep, or book the room for off season.

Guests that stayed on the lower levels of the hotel reported foul odours in both the bathrooms, as well as in the linens and towels that they received.
