Hotel Allamanda Beach Resort (Grand Anse Bay, Grenada)

Allamanda Beach Resort enjoys a prominent position with stunning views overlooking the Caribbean Sea in the southwest of the island of Grenada. Within the immediate vicinity of the hotel there are many different bars and restaurants such as Venus Restaurant and Sports Lounge for you to enjoy a bite to eat or a few drinks and there are also a number of small shopping malls along with the airport which is just a short drive away.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and will go out of their way to ensure that you are made to feel at home from the reception desk to the cleaning staff and the owners who live on site and who are always on hand to make your stay enjoyable and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

The rooms have all the amenities you require for your stay and they are kept well-maintained by staff and cleaned regularly with particular mention given to the air conditioning which many guests appreciated during the hot weather.

Some areas of the hotel are looking quite shabby and in need of refurbishment with the furniture in the communal areas especially dirty and grubby, furthermore some guests have reported a moldy and musty smell in some places of the hotel.

It has been reported by previous guests that the restaurant isn't open during the off season so you may do well to check this in advance, but despite this there are a number of different restaurants within very easy walking distance so it should not be too difficult to find somewhere to eat out.

There have been some complaints about mosquitoes from guests who suggest a lot of spray in rooms to try and deter them after being bitten.
