According to reports, Aloft Cancun is perfectly positioned for travelers looking to enjoy Cancun's vibrant nightlife. The hotel is located just seconds away from The Strip, meaning guests can head to Coco Bongo, Senor Frogs and the many other Cancun nightclubs without having to worry about taxis or buses.
In addition to nightclubs and bars, Aloft Cancun is also conveniently located for many other city amenities, including shops, restaurants, beaches, supermarkets and the convention center. Many tours also depart from nearby.
Past guests have praised the rooftop pool and terrace, which offers a clean and quiet location to sunbathe and splash around. Guests also report that the Caribbean views on offer are fairly impressive.
Some guests are disappointed to learn that, unlike so many other Cancun hotels, Aloft Cancun does not offer direct access to the beach. Guests report that this is only a minor quibble as the beach is less than a minute away.
According to reports, the hotel does not offer room service, which comes as a surprise to some guests. The hotel does offer a serve-yourself pantry/snack bar that is open around the clock though.
Several guests staying at the hotel report that some hallway carpets are stained and the corridors in general come with an unpleasant smell. Despite this, the cleanliness of the hotel in general is reportedly of a higher standard.
