Guests thought the hotel's staff members to be friendly and accommodating. They made guests feel at home and some had help with their heavy luggage. Some were happy to have the staff quickly resolve and answer their questions.
Guests were very happy to find a hotel that is in central Cologne and within walking distance of the many attractions the city has to offer. The famous cathedral is a ten minute walk from the hotel. It is also close to markets, bars, restaurants and various shops. There was plenty to do at a close distance.
Most guests were very happy to find that their rooms were clean and were taken care of on a daily basis. It was nice to sleep and stay in tidy rooms.
The rooms are found to be too small for some guests. They felt crammed in their rooms as the bed seemed to barely fit from wall to wall. Tall guests felt the size to be of particular concern. People had to maneuver themselves around the beds.
The roads near the hotel brought in plenty of noise from outdoors. Some guests found it difficult to sleep and relax in their rooms. The noise was too loud and distracting.
Some guests felt there could have been some additions to simple amenities in a hotel. These include a free breakfast, more staff members and no room service. Some simple additions would have been nice for the money. The hotel is average and does not have that something special to make guests want to return.
