The height of the tiles in the bathroom is a good indicator as to the standard of accommodation. In this hotel, they are floor to ceiling! Generally, air con is good and effective, beds are comfortable and cleanliness is obviously a major feature. Water pressure is good, resulting in long, hot showers.
This is a great location with lots of amenities and attractions nearby. You don’t need to go far for a great Mexican meal … The Range is just across the parking lot.
Very efficient and helpful, they have the knack of being welcoming without engaging you in endless small-talk. After a long journey, you really appreciate this.
Breakfast is OK ish, if a bit on the mean side. Choices are limited and so are the quantities. Can’t complain though – it is free, after all!
Doesn’t matter if it’s totally free, or costs a fortune, because it is very unreliable. Don’t come here if you are reliant on the WiFi. Strangely, the non-smoking room has an unemptied ashtray in it! Maintenance could be much better – broken toilet seat etc; - and cleaning is similarly at fault with floors being particularly filthy. Don’t mention the noise! Disruption from neighboring rooms is deafening and goes on indefinitely.
The furniture is old and some of it is (*literally) on its last legs. Some of the furnishings and bed linen have cigarette burn marks and you are aware that some fellow guests wouldn’t be allowed anywhere even near the outside perimeter of your own social circle. A bit intimidating.
