The hotel is located close to the interstate and is easy to locate. Guests were glad that parking was by the room making it convenient for them to move the baggage. The hotel is close to areas of local activities and shopping like the Montgomery Zoo. Guests can visit the Korean restaurant next door.
Guests loved taking a plunge in the outdoor pool, which was clean and well maintained. Kids had a great time in the pool. Hotel staff was quite efficient and eager to lend a helping hand as and when required.
Some guests felt that their stay in this hotel was worth the money paid. They had a good night's sleep and adequate breakfast. The Check-in process is quick without any hiccups. People traveling with pets preferred staying here as the hotel is pet friendly.
Most of the guests felt that breakfast was way below standard. The lobby where breakfast was served was dark and dingy. Fruit juice was frozen and bagels were hard making it impossible for them to eat. Moreover, they did not serve the entire menu given on their website.
As per records, East Montgomery is a high crime area. A nightclub next to the hotel was very noisy and fights broke out occasionally. High noise levels and people moving in and out of the club made it impossible for some guests to sleep. There were incidents of dogs barking through the night.
Many guests had a bad experience of rooms with a musty odor. Carpets were dirty, chairs were stained, shower rods were rusted and walls were stained. Some guests even reported having fleas, cockroaches, bugs and ants on towels and sheets.
