If you think a mountain vacation means the towering peaks of the Sierras and the Rockies, it's time to explore Lake Arrowhead, tucked quietly into a pocket of tranquility high in the San Bernardino Mountains. Visit the Tree Top Lodge and breath in the scent of pine trees and fresh air. Our relaxing mountain lifestyle provides a perfect getaway from city cares. Our rustic alpine rooms have king and queen size beds. We also offer rooms with full kitchens or fireplace. Nestled among the tall pines of heavily forest grounds you can enjoy an invigorating stroll on our private natural trail. There are over 14 trails in the area in various skill levels from easy walks to difficult hikes. Keller Peak and Strawberry Peak lookout towers are open daily from 9 to 5 pm through late fall. Pinnacles Trail, 3.5 miles, begins at the entrance to the Rifle Range on Hwy 173. Easy walks are Heaps Peak Arboretum off Hwy 18 and the Children's near Running Springs. With thousands of acres of National Forest,you can hike or ski as far as you want to go to enjoy the gentle sound of nature. You may even encounter a glimpse of a mule deer, a coyote or a bald eagle. With the changing seasons, dogwoods or wildflowers.
