The staff at Astoria Rivershore Motel are very polite and will do all that they can to make sure you are having as enjoyable stay with them as is possible. They can also offer you advice on where to go and what to do in the local area.
Previous guests have stated that the guestrooms at this motel are kept to a decent level of cleanliness. The same can be said of the bathrooms.
Several of the rooms here offer a clear view of the Columbia River, which gives a great sense of location. The water itself is nearby and the river walk is great. You'll also find yourself close to pretty much everything on the main street, which is nicely convenient.
Many guests at Astoria Rivershore Motel have noted that the continental breakfast is rather lacking, to the point that it is almost not worth bothering with at all. You might find that you need to go elsewhere if you want something to fill you up in the morning.
Because the property is located right on freeway, you may experience quite a large amount of traffic noise. You might also be able to hear the sounds coming from guests in adjacent rooms, as the soundproofing doesn't seem to be very good.
A little revamp here and there wouldn't go amiss. Some of the carpets seem rather old and the decor dated. The Wi-Fi is often quite unreliable and the rooms don't offer much in the way of climate control. They can get quite hot.
