This bed and breakfast has a lot of little bonuses that are above a standard inn. There are both rooms and suites, and the suites have multiple beds and their own private sitting areas. The rooms are spacious and many are big enough for family use. Plus, the refrigerator and coffee and tea facilities make a nice feature if staying for several days.
Au Coeur is well-named indeed and sits right near the centre of the very heart of Magog. It's an easy and short walk to countless shops, markets, and restaurants. There are touring companies in either direction and the lake shore is also nearby.
The owners run the place and their personal attention to detail provides for a friendly and welcoming stay. They are attentive to concerns and requests and very helpful with area recommendations.
If you're staying more than one night, you'll still get the same thing each day for breakfast. There is no menu, no choice, and no variety. Each and every day is the same thing. While delicious, the repetition brings down the pleasure of the food.
