This is an excellent location for easy access to all that Chicago has to offer. It feels like you are right in the middle of the Magnificent Mile with access to shopping, dining, and sights all just steps away. There is also a Starbucks just one block away.
Guests say that this hotel's staff provide top-notch service. They are friendly and willing to accommodate your every need.
Rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with in room mini-fridges and a comfortable bed with super cozy linens. Guests say this is a great price for what you receive.
There is limited food available onsite at this hotel. There is no real restaurant, therefore no room service and no served breakfast is available, just a buffet. Food at breakfast and at the small bar is average at best. It's best for you to take the time to explore some of Chicago's excellent food options.
Some rooms still need updating. You can see where paint and wallpaper are peeling, carpet is stained, and some bathroom fixtures are broken. A little more TLC would go a long way.
There are only two elevators for this hotel and one seems to be consistently out-of-order. This makes for slow elevator service, long waits to access them, and the elevators themselves are quite small, so they fill up quickly, especially with everyone's luggage.
