Some people may suggest that the Inn has a lot of “soul.” The ambiance is personal in a unique way. You feel like you stepped into an old friend's home. It has a homey feel and the environment is more on the level of a private getaway, or an oasis in the city.
You can just about walk or drive anywhere without much fuss. The facility is near the university and several blocks from a history museum. There are also a few restaurants in the vicinity. Accommodations are under a mile from downtown and if you are visiting the university campus, you will find the location quite convenient. The business zone is quickly accessible as well.
Each room has its own theme. The Far East, European, Safari, French, and olive room are some of the themes accentuated at the facility.
You may find the rooms a little worse for wear. A dripping bathroom sink, water marks on the ceiling, ripped wallpaper, and grimy walls are unsightly décor distractions you might encounter.
The breakfast does not match the price of the room, it's not cheap! It's a meager breakfast with no hot options provided. Muffins, toast, hard boiled eggs, and cold cereal is not a worthwhile breakfast for the price you pay per night.
If you have requests during a certain hour, you can expect the cold-shoulder from the staff. They want nothing to do with you. Though they charge five-star hotel prices, you won't get that type of service. For example, asking for fresh towels can turn into a drawn out matter.
