Hospitality at the hotel is outstanding. The entire staff from the reception to housekeeping are courteous and attentive. Staff handles issues well and provides a homely, comfortable atmosphere. It feels like a home away from home.
Thankfully, the Wi-Fi is fantastic. There is no problem to log on and the connection is good anywhere inside the hotel. This is a great plus, especially if you are dependent on using your devices frequently.
The atmosphere is serene after you are inside the property. The property appears safe, as safe as the situation will allow in today's world. Security is well aware of events, yet remain courteous and modest.
Though the hotel is well decorated, it has experienced a bit of wear-and-tear. Rooms need some repairs, bathrooms have no separate showers. Towels appear a bit worn and furniture should be cleaned better. Corridors are dark; however, this may be due to the need to save generators as electricity goes out frequently in the city. The hotel still has its charm, but things are getting a bit outdated and needs replacements in order for the hotel to keep its four-five star status.
Breakfast could have more variety. It's okay, but needs some better seasoning and different foods.
Due to security issues, taxi's are not permitted to enter the premises of the hotel. A complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off is not supplied.
