positive:

Guests recommend opting for a room with a balcony if you can, since it adds to the unique charater of your stay, and provides endless people-watching opportunities.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Noise until the early hours.
The flip-side of being situated right in the center of town is that the streets around the hotel are full of clubs and bars, and once the sun goes down, the music and revelry starts. It's fine if you're out enjoying yourself, but if you're trying to sleep, all the noise might not be so welcome.
negative:
There's no elevator.
This is an old, traditional building with few modern modifications, so it doesn't have an elevator, and you may have to scale the rather beautiful but also rather winding stairs with your luggage. If you have mobility problems, it's worth requesting an accessible room in advance.
negative:
Not-so continental breakfast.
If you imagine a continental breakfast to be an inviting spread of fresh bread, pastries, cold cuts and fruit, then prepare to be disappointed. According to previous guests, the breakfast here is little more than a slice or two of toast - and you have to make it yourself.
