Downtown Disney offers many unique dining experiences. Downtown Disney is a lively shopping and entertainment area. Walt Disney World can be easily reached by free shuttle bus. Universal Orlando and SeaWorld are within eight miles. This accommodation is also known as B Lake Buena Vista, B Resort, B Resort Lake Buena Vista, and Resort B.
The hotel is only a short ten minute walk from Downtown Disney, but there is also a small supermarket and some less expensive chain restaurants nearby. The provided shuttle busses take you to the Walt Disney World theme parks. Walt Disney World provides free transportation from Downtown Disney as well to resort locations. Some guests had a great view and could enjoy the nightly firework shows from the parks from their balcony or patio.
The hotel has been recently renovated. Though the building itself is a bit older the rooms offer new amenities and many guests remarked on the very comfortable mattresses that made a good sleep easy.
The staff is there to help you arrange transportation or suggest possible sights in Orlando beyond the obvious theme parks. You can expect friendly service from the staff starting at the reception but also in the coffee shop, bar and restaurant.
The rooms that face the pool tend to have more noise as many guests use the pool and lounge area till late at night. You might want to book another location if you are sensitive to noise.
The Wi-Fi can get slow when a lot of people try to use it, for example in the evening. Some guests had little to no reception at these times, neither in the room nor in public areas of the hotel.
While some people raved about the good food others described the food as horrible. As the hotel offers different dining experiences it might depend if you order a la carte or the all-you-can-eat. There are plenty of other dining possibilities in the nearby Downtown Disney area.
