Bahia Chac Chi is a contemporary waterfront hotel close to and enjoying views of Mujeres’ bay. Guest rooms either feature views of the bay or the swimming pool and are all provided with a flat screen TV, a safe, free Wi-Fi and a private balcony or deck. All rooms are soundproof. The hotel is conveniently located near the port for access to the ferry, some great snorkelling sites and a number of other natural and archaeological sites are all within walking distance. Panoramic views of the bay and the rest of the island can be enjoyed from many of the guest rooms, the top-floor meeting venue, the swimming pool and the lounge.
Although there is no full restaurant on site, Bahia Chac Chi is a short walk away from a variety of restaurants given the lively area it is located in, not to mention a few bars and clubs as well. Information and recommendations on such can be enquired about at the reception.
The hotel features sleek interiors and is kept very neat and clean both inside and out. Previous guests have commented on the quality of the housekeeping services.
As much as a good-quality breakfast is available every morning, it consists mainly of coffee, pastries and fruit/yoghurt which for some is quite light and not enough for a full meal.
The hotel is on a fairly busy street and the rooms with an ocean view may face out onto this street and potentially face some noise at night. Generally however, this can be managed with closed balcony doors and with the air conditioning on.
The swimming pool is quite a small one and is not exposed to very much sunshine, however there is a solarium with loungers adjacent to the pool area where guests can soak up the rays.
