Although the hotel is a favorite among tourists and locals alike, some guests pointed out that it is one of the older establishments in the area. The decor and wallpaper in some rooms are already in need of replacement, and some furniture and facilities are in need of updating.
The hotel is located a little far from the Port Lucaya marketplace where most activities and dining establishments are found. It is within a 20-minute from the center - something that is inconvenient especially when guests are walking under the heat of the sun.
