About Hotel Bellevue Palace Bern

The Bellevue Palace, near the Federal Palace in Bern, is a five-star establishment opened since 1913 in a neoclassicist style building. Property of the Swiss government, the hotel is managed by the Victoria-Jungfrau Collection AG. The hotel's 126 room, renovated in 2002 and decorated by Pia Schmid, are divided in several categories, standard, deluxe, and suites, from the junior suite all the way to the presidential one. The views from the rooms are of the Alps, the old town, the courtyard or the federal palace. The fifth floor is taken up by rooms adapted to the needs of the business traveller. The restaurant, La Terrasse, offers a view over the river Aar and a traditional Swiss inspired cuisine. It is also the setting for breakfast. Local dishes and snacks are also available in the Bar Bellevue, and for those who enjoy a cigar, Le Fumoir is a space entirely given over to this passion. The Bellevie Gym, on the hotel's roof, has a terrace with sun loungers, a self-service bar and a Finnish sauna, and if required, can provide a personal trainer.
