About Big Meadows Lodge

Built in 1939 with stones hewn from Massanutten Mountain and native chestnut wood paneling, Big Meadows Lodge is located one mile from the large, grassy meadow at mile 51 of Skyline Drive. The lodge has an easy, natural feeling and is officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Make yourself at home in one of the 97 guestrooms. Bathrooms have showers and hair dryers. Conveniences include coffee/tea makers, housekeeping is provided daily, and cribs/infant beds (complimentary) can be requested.Guest accommodation comprises 96 rooms. Services and facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, a dining area and a conference room. Those arriving in their own vehicles can leave them in the car park of the hotel.
