The spacious guest rooms at Black Canyon Motel are cleaned to a very high standard and private balconies allow guess to enjoy the amazing views of the area. Also reported was comfortable beds, Wi-Fi service that always works and plenty of modern amenities
This hotel is in a very good location on a main street that is surprisingly quiet and is also within walking distance to many services and amenities including the downtown area and a beautiful national park.
The continental breakfast served each morning is delicious with a good selection of hot and cold items and filling portions.
Guests reported some things around the hotel and in rooms that made them feel unsafe. Doors that looked like they had been kicked in at one point, windows that don't lock and holes in doors where peepholes used to be are some of the things reported.
Guests reported that the walls in the rooms are not very soundproof as they could hear everything going on in nearby rooms. Toilets flushing, water running, conversations, televisions and even snoring can be heard clearly.
Guests reported that there is rarely any staff outside doing maintenance or cleaning up around the grounds. There are cigarette butts and litter all over the place and no one picks it up as it's there for days at a time.
