About Bluebird Lake Placid

The Lake Placid Summit Hotel overlooks Mirror Lake and is just around the corner from the shops and restaurants in Lake Placid Village. The hotel has been newly renovated. Most of the rooms have views of beautiful Mirror Lake and all are equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, cable TV, and free wireless Internet. The Lake Placid Summit Hotel offers an indoor heated pool surrounded by bay windows and a newly renovated exercise room open 24 hours a day. Strada 86 Italian Restaurant and Signal Hill Tavern are closed temporarily for renovations and will reopen as soon as possible. Lake Placid was the host to two Winter Olympics.  Nearby outdoor activities include skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, bobsled and ice skating.
