The hotel is situated off the highway, which makes it easy to reach as well as navigate the city of Asheville and its attractions. The Biltmore is less than two miles away, and guests also liked having many restaurants nearby. Families with children pointed out that the entertainment center next door proved to be a lot of fun for younger children, since it includes mini golf, bowling, arcade games and go-karts.
According to guests, the rooms include flat-screen TVs and the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms renovated and quite clean. Guests that were missing items or noticed defective appliances quickly received replacements, so they didn't' have to do without being comfortable.
Guests noted that the staff was professional, friendly and willing and able to recommend great restaurants in the area as well as popular attractions.
Guests noted that the continental breakfast contained the usual staples like waffles, eggs and fruit, but there simply isn't enough food sometimes, as it runs out too quickly and isn't replenished right away.
Several guests pointed out that rooms that hadn't been renovated yet were outdated and not the cleanest, because they found dead bugs in the corners and under the furniture. The old carpets in the hallways and rooms should also be replaced or thoroughly cleaned at the very least, since guest reported them to emit an odor.
The hotel is situated at a busy intersection, and several guests commented on the fact that they could hear the traffic noise at night.
