The hotel policy of accepting guests aged 18 and over ensures that the vibe is more of tranquility and romance, rather than catering to families. The hotel is a particular favorite of those on honeymoon or celebrating their wedding anniversaries. It is a secluded hotel suited to those wanting a quiet holiday rather than to party.
Those staying in rooms facing the ocean are rewarded with beautiful views of the white, sandy beach, palm trees and turquoise sea. The grounds around the hotel are attractive, beach itself is spotlessly clean and there are plenty of sun loungers available.
Those working at the hotel go out of their way to ensure that guests feel welcome. On arrival guests are presented with champagne while they are checked in. From reception to bar and restaurant staff, the entire team are very personable, friendly and professional.
Some feel that the spa is overpriced for what was on offer. It is set within a singular, small room. The pool is likewise on the small side, however, is generally never overcrowded.
Only some of the hotel's rooms offer wonderful sea views, some of those that face in different directions suffer from not only a lack of view, but also an unattractive one. Rooms can also be dark, depending on the direction they face.
Members of the public are allowed to access the beachfront area of the hotel. This somewhat diminishes the hotel's ethos of providing a tranquil adult-only atmosphere, as members of the public with children can arrive at the beach at weekends and settle in this area along with using the hotel's facilities such as loungers and showers.
