On the perimeter of the old city and on the famous Grande Allée, sits the three-star C3 Hôtel Art de Vivre. The Grand Theatre and other attractions are 11 minutes away. Rooms and suites include free WiFi, flat-screen TV, workspace and iPod dock. Decorative fireplaces, brick walls and hot tubs may also feature. Upgrades can include wall beds, and a living area. The top floor suite incorporates two bedrooms and a balcony. From the roof terrace at C3 Hôtel Art de Vivre, there are memorable views over Quebec. The hotel is non-smoking, with multilingual staff, meeting rooms and a concierge service. A buffet breakfast is complimentary. Later, Terrace drinks are a 'must'! Enzo Sushi is a neighboring restaurant. Others include Cochon Dingue and Ciccio Cafe. The hotel is located to the front of the National Museum of Art and it’s a five minute walk to the restaurants and shops on Cartier Avenue.

Set on the Grande Allée, Auberge du Quartier is a short walk away from from a choice of bars, cafes and restaurants, local shops and supermarkets. The Plains of Abraham and the National Museum of Fine Arts are less than ten-minutes' walk away, and the Old Town can be reached within15-minutes' walk.
Guests found the rooms to be well appointed and decorated with bright, tasteful furnishings and large, comfortable beds. The rooms were also described as clean and spacious and those with upgraded rooms enjoyed a fireplace and balcony. Others described the rooms are quaint and romantic and perfect for a romantic getaway.
The staff have been described as friendly and welcoming, attentive and helpful. Guests with children also complimented staff on their thoughtfulness for providing children with marshmallows that they could roast on the fire of the rooftop terrace.
Some guests were surprised to check in and be directed to a basement room. Some guests reported that there was only a small window with minimal natural light in these rooms, and that it was difficult to carry the luggage down the narrow basement steps.
Some guests felt that the hotel was overpriced for the services offered. Guests booked into a basement room in particular felt this way. Breakfast is not included, nor is parking which incurs a daily fee.
Some guests reported that the walls and floors are not well insulated and the sound of neighboring guests can be easily heard.
