Guests found the rooms to be well appointed and decorated with bright, tasteful furnishings and large, comfortable beds. The rooms were also described as clean and spacious and those with upgraded rooms enjoyed a fireplace and balcony. Others described the rooms are quaint and romantic and perfect for a romantic getaway.

The staff have been described as friendly and welcoming, attentive and helpful. Guests with children also complimented staff on their thoughtfulness for providing children with marshmallows that they could roast on the fire of the rooftop terrace.

Beware of basement rooms
Some guests were surprised to check in and be directed to a basement room. Some guests reported that there was only a small window with minimal natural light in these rooms, and that it was difficult to carry the luggage down the narrow basement steps.

Some guests felt that the hotel was overpriced for the services offered. Guests booked into a basement room in particular felt this way. Breakfast is not included, nor is parking which incurs a daily fee.
