About Camp Estate

Set amid the dramatic grounds of Larnach Castle and just 20 minutes’ drive from Dunedin, Camp Estate offers upmarket accommodation in an elegant country-style house with a central marble staircase. Guests enjoy complimentary access to the castle. Decorated in a neoclassical style, each of the five luxurious rooms at Camp Estate features an en-suite bathroom, a fridge, and tea and coffee-making facilities. For entertainment, there’s Sky TV as well as iPod docks and wireless laptops. Along with conference facilities, this hotel has plenty of space for private celebrations. Guests also enjoy complimentary bike hire and access to a communal sitting room. A cooked or continental breakfast – or both if desired – is included in the room rate. For an additional fee, guests can enjoy an evening meal in the castle. An honesty bar is available in the property’s lounge. Camp Estate is a 15-minute drive from Tomahawk Beach. Taiaroa Head – home to penguins, seals, and albatross – is 30 minutes away.
