Every guest at the Hotel Capstone has applauded the wonderfully convenient location of the accommodation. Positioned on the campus of the University of Alabama and right in the middle of Tuscaloosa, the hotel is in a perfect location to explore the area. The Bryant-Denny Stadium, for example, is only ten minutes away from the hotel on foot.
Nearly every previous visitor to the hotel has commended the high level of customer service provided by the staff - most notably the front desk personnel who are described as being both friendly and professional. The complimentary shuttle, which can take you to any nearby attractions, has also been well received.
Although the majority of the rooms are not equipped with a large variety of amenities - the lack of a refrigerator and microwave has been a small complaint in the past - they are labeled as being comfortable by the large majority of former guests at the Hotel Capstone.
While cleanliness has not been a problem for most past guests at the Hotel Capstone, a small number have had issues in that regard. Most of these issues have come from the carpets and a supposed lack of sufficient daily room cleaning.
Although the hotel has an on-site restaurant that serves breakfast, a small minority of past visitors have been irritated that it is not inclusive with the room price.
Some previous guests have mentioned that the hotel is dated in certain areas, most notably in the bedrooms. However, this problem is not too detrimental to what is generally a fantastic stay at the Hotel Capstone.
