Guests raved about the great customer service and friendly staff members, from the front desk to the bars. Housekeeping is reliable and doing a good job. If you enjoy to have a full service customer experience and great people, this is the place to stay.
There are some special amenities that guests found fun to use. You can feed fish at the pier, the towel station has bread for you available to do so. There is a small tropical enclosure with birds and some reptiles that you can enjoy. Beach umbrellas are provided for your beach time and they will put it up for you when you get one. .
Condado beach and Old Town San Juan can be reached by a ten minute walk. The resort is not very hard to reach from the airport. Some tour operators pick you up directly from the hotel so you do not have to get to some kind of collection point. There are restaurants and shops right outside the hotel across the street as well. .
Many guests felt that the food offered was a bit overpriced for what it actually was. There are restaurants outside of the property if you prefer not to dine at the restaurants in the hotel. .
Guests who booked the hotel were sometimes surprised by resort fees added to their reservation. Resort fees are always paid upon arrival and are paying for many of the amenities provided, so be aware that this hotel will charge extra fees on top of the nightly rate. .
Some travellers felt their rooms were quite dated, especially in the cheapest room category. Suites and villas received much better reviews than standard rooms. .
