Caribe Resort by Wyndham Vacation Rentals features free wired high-speed Internet and cable television in all of the condos. Local calls are free. Several guests comment that the resort is ideal for a couples gathering for a weekend of golf, tennis, shopping, fine dining, and fun in the sun. Each condo has a well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stovetop, oven, microwave, and dishwasher for easy self-catering. A complimentary breakfast is served in the dining room each morning.
Guests remark they especially enjoyed the views from the furnished balcony. The balconies are roomy with a grill and the views of the beach and bay at sunset are spectacular. Returning guests comment they find the family-orientated resort perfect for a multi-family event. There is always something to do. You will love it.
The outgoing, attentive staff receives high praise from guests that note the staff goes out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable and that they have everything they need for an enjoyable stay.
A few guests stated that while the location was great and the staff accommodating, the condos are now a bit dated and dreary. Other guests noted that the furniture in their rental unit was bulky and heavy, inappropriate for an open and airy beach destination.
Some guests advised that the rugs and upholstery in the condo they rented were unacceptable with visible soil and stains.
Multiple minor maintenance issues including lamps that do not work, dripping water faucets, and malfunctioning jetted tubs are common guest complaints. Some guests remarked that although repair problems were reported to management, the repairs were not accomplished during their stay.
