This hotel occupies a great location close to the city. There are several places to eat onsite as well as nearby. There are plenty of shops within walking distance. You're about 10 miles from the heart of Philadelphia and less than 20 from the airport. Germantown Ave is nearby and this charming and unique area is filled with interesting shops and restaurants.
Rooms come well-equipped with luxury-style amenities like Nespresso coffee machines, antique-style decor, blackout curtains, and L'occitane bath products. Bathrooms are well decorated in marble and come with a lovely shower and heated mirror.
The staff at this hotel are friendly, helpful, and always provide professional service with a smile. They do an excellent job of making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. They are knowledgeable and proud about their local area, and eager to impart that local knowledge to guests.
Some guests say you may hear a bit of noise from the rooms above you. The street outside can be busy and noisy as well, and may bother a light sleeper, especially if you sleep with the windows open. You may want to bring a set of earplugs just in case.
If your room is located in the Post Office Annex, you'll have to walk outside, across the courtyard, and up about 15 steps to get to it. There is no elevator or ramp, so if mobility is an issue for someone in your party, let the hotel know the annex is not an option for you.
