Hotel Chris-Tal (Les Houches, France)

The hotel is situated in a quiet part of Les Houches and to the rear of the hotel has views across to Mont Blanc and the Aiguille di Midi. The spectacular views from the hotel featured prominently in comments from previous guests who remarked that this was the best feature of their stay.

A number of previous visitors to the hotel commented on the convenient shuttle transport that quickly and efficiency took them into Chamonix and to the Bellevue and Parion lifts. Buses are frequent and this provided easy access to the slopes for guests. Bus trips are included in lift prices.

A number of reviewers made specific comments about the excellent amenities and facilities at the hotel with many commenting that relaxing in the swimming pool and the sauna was their favourite part of their day.

The food served in the restaurant did not rate highly among reviewers with many commenting that the food was average at best, with some suggesting that more variety be provided across the menu and more care taken to make the food tasty and interesting.

Some reviewers felt that for the price paid the rooms at the hotel were very small with limited room to move.  In particular guests thought that the bathrooms were too small to make their stay a comfortable one.

A number of people left less than favourable comments about the service that they received in the hotel particularly in the restaurant where some contend that the staff were rude and unpleasant.
