This property was very popular with those visiting or passing through the Mesa area on spur-of-the-moment trips. These last-minute bookers were please to find that, regardless of the spontaneity of their plans, there seemed to be no issues in getting a room at this basic motel.
Situated just seven miles from downtown Mesa and located close to U.S. Route 60, many felt that this property's rates were an absolute bargain given its handy location.
Staff here may not be able to solve each and every issue, but their overall polite attitude was noted and certainly appreciated by guests.
New arrivals reported some extremely uncomfortable encounters with the incumbent clientele of this property. Incoming guests commented that rough and rowdy behaviour - particularly loitering in the car park and shouting in rooms - was par for the course here. Many found this very menacing and female guests in particular reported unwanted approaches, including catcalls.
The units at this property were noted as being very run down and dirty. Broken fixtures and fittings - including beds and, more worryingly, door locks - appear to be commonplace. Both beds and linens are noted to be stained and heavily worn.
Judging by the reviews of guests, both bed bugs and roaches are an issue here. Many were horrified to find that, upon entering their rooms and turning on the light, the floors, walls and room surfaces were covered with cockroaches.
