If you aren't driving, then the proximity to public transportation is good. The bus into town is speedy and cheap enough. If you do have a car, then there is ample parking at the property.
The staff at this motel are very knowledgeable about the local area. They can definitely give you some tips that you might not have thought of. On top of this, they are friendly and generally very eager to make sure you are having an enjoyable stay.
Most of the rooms here are pretty spacious, meaning that you'll be able to spread yourself out.
Columbus Motor Inn is feeling pretty old these days and could do with something of a revamp in terms of its décor. The soundproofing leaves a little to be desired as well. You'll hear what's going on in adjacent rooms and from above. Also, some areas could certainly be cleaner and there is sometimes a bit of a musty smell about the place.
While it is in a decent position for checking out Seattle's attractions, the immediate neighborhood feels a little seedy. It can feel a little intimidating.
The Wi-Fi here is very difficult to access. The connectivity is so poor that the signal will continually drop out and it will be very sluggish when you are on online.
