The hotel is located just across from the state fairgrounds and is perfect for those who have business or pleasure there. It's also a great hotel if you're going to one of the stadiums or are in town for a Columbus Crew game. It's an easy walk to any of those spots which makes for a great commute when the nearby roads are packed with game or event traffic.
The hotel leaves a lot of little extras just to delight and please guests. There are free water bottles and free packets of cookies and candy in the room. The WiFi is free and the workout room even has free chilled water bottles and a TV.
While a budget choice, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious. The service is friendly and efficient and the breakfast is a bit better than average budget hotel offerings. Overall, it's a good value and provides more than just a place to lay your head at night.
The hotel is not convenient for travelers unless you have needs in the immediate area. There are no restaurants within walking distance and it's a long drive to a good selection of bars, eateries, and entertainment options.
