Set in an historic building, Copper Whale Inn offers easy access to the picturesque 11-mile Elderberry Park coastal trail, which is located within a four-minute walk of the hotel.

One part of the guest house overlooks a rather busy road and guests who stayed in that part of the building said they were often disturbed by traffic noise which they described as quite intrusive.

Those who stayed at the inn during warmer weather objected to the lack of air-conditioning units as they found the fans inadequate when it came to cooling down their rooms.
