Most guests admired the courteous service provided by the staff especially the front desk staff. They went the extra mile to assist even those impatient guests. In addition, they even made great suggestions for restaurants and popular spots and have exceeded the guests’ expectations.
Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, St. Petersburg’s location is strategic according to guests! It is near Tampa Bay and Airport, and offers easy access to major establishments such as Walmart which is just right across the hotel. Tourists’ attractions such as beaches and stadiums are also just a few miles from the hotel.
Guests are satisfied with the quality of the beds or mattresses provided inside the rooms! Sheets are also clean, comfortable, and smell nice. As a result, guests were able to sleep well and enjoyed their overall stay.
Most guests were disappointed with the breakfast, which was not sufficient and did not taste good. The hotel ran out of coffee most of the time, and both the quality and quantity of the breakfast food were or poor quality. Therefore, guests are advised to try nearby restaurants such as BJ's Restaurant and Cheddar’s.
Because of thin wall structure, guests had problems with the noise coming from the other rooms such as continuous coughing, loud conversations, and mean arguments. Loud traffic noise from the nearby street can also be heard.
Guests had some serious issues with the quality of cleanliness of the rooms. Aside from the dirty furnishings, some guests had to kill cockroaches from inside the bedrooms or bathrooms. There were also molds or stains in the bathroom while the carpets and floor were not vacuumed properly.
