You certainly won't be stranded in your hotel here with nothing to do. Guests state that there is a wide choice of restaurants – including top quality establishments - and eating places within a short walk. Rookwood Commons shopping center also has a good range of shops and entertainment on your doorstep. The hotel is also a popular base for visitors to Xavier University nearby and convenient for business travelers, just off the highway.
Guests remark that the rooms are modern, comfortable, well-maintained and above all spacious and spotlessly clean.
Guests cannot understand why they have to fork out extra on top of their room rate to park their vehicule. It's not as if the hotel is in downtown Cincinnati after all! The hotel seems to own its parking space and many object that they have to pay simply for a valet to take their car to the parking lot!
No matter how good the welcome or facilities, it is felt that the Courtyard Cincinnati Midtown/Rookwood is a little bit overpriced overall – especially in comparison to other establishments in the same chain.
Guests are not impressed overall by the breakfast. It is a bit on the light side. If you're looking for something more substantial, you may be better off going elsewhere. There is plenty of choice locally after all!
