    Guests to this location are highly appreciative of the quality of the staff. Specifically, the front desk does a marvelous job of interacting with the guests and helping them feel comfortable and welcome.

    A standout aspect of this hotel to many that stay here is its location within Carolina Beach. Aside from quick beach access, the Carolina Beach State Park is a highly walkable distance at just under a mile away. Also, Fort Fisher Historic Site is just four miles away, while the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher is about six miles away.

    Ocean views are marvelous

    Guests to Courtyard Carolina Beach say that the included ocean views along the rooms' balconies are highly appreciated. It's highly relaxing for guests to be able to look out on the sand and surf and feel the gentle beach winds. The views make this hotel an excellent vacation spot to many a guest.

    Some mattresses old

    A repeated refrain from some guests is that the mattresses at this hotel are old and require replacement. A number of guests struggle a bit to get an adequate night's sleep due to how uncomfortable the beds are. The mattresses in some rooms are described as lumpy and unserviceable.
