The Creekwood Inn is a straightforward accommodation choice that offers free Wi-Fi access and well-equipped rooms. Situated in midtown Anchorage, the motel is located directly opposite the Chester Creek Trail. Recently remodelled in 2013, the rooms at the Creekwood Inn all come equipped with a coffeemaker, refrigerator, microwave, flat-screen cable television and hairdryer. Each room also contains a full en-suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Private on-site parking is supplied by the accommodation and is inclusive with all stays, while an on-site laundry room is supplied. The motel also features a 24-hour front desk, ensuring assistance can be offered at all times. Available from the motel’s lobby free of charge, freshly brewed coffee can be enjoyed throughout the day. Snacks can also be purchased from the lobby area. The motel is approximately ten minutes away on foot from both Sullivan Arena and the Mall at Sears. Downtown Anchorage is a five-minute drive.

The staff members are one of the best things about staying at the motel - according to the sentiments of many previous gusts. Warm and welcoming, the service delivered was also apparently really accommodating in offering assistance when needed.
Whilst not regarded as impeccable, the accommodation's rooms were commended in certain aspects by past visitors. Along with featuring useful amenities such as a refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave, the rooms were often defined as clean and tidy.
When taking into account overall opinion, the Wi-Fi was seen in a positive light by former guests of the motel. As well as being free, the wireless Internet was usually judged to be reliable.
Based on overall feedback, the location of the hotel was not the best overall. As well as not being within reasonable walking distance of downtown Anchorage, the area itself was occasionally described as somewhat unwelcoming on occasion.
At times, previous guests have been left disappointed about the fact that the rooms do not contain air conditioning units. Although the climate for the area is not the warmest most of the time, during hotter months this aspect was more evident for those staying at the motel.
According to numerous former visitors, noise can be a potential issue when staying at the accommodation. In particular, rooms facing the highway can apparently be more in line for this disadvantage, with the sound of passing traffic being noticeably bothersome.
