In ancient times, these windows served to provide light and to provide an escape for the carbon gases used to cook and heat house. The rooms are on two main floors and there is also a delightful lower terrasse and an upper terrasse with a panoramic viewof the city and its beautiful beach. The first floor of this charming Riad consists of five arches in the middle of the courtyard, two small tea areas and a dinning-room with authentic Moroccan furniture.
